FOURTH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL ‘TRADITIONS AND PRESENT’ DUE IN MOSCOW

Baku, May 22 (AZERTAC). The Fourth International Festival “Traditions and the present” opened at Moscow`s Crocus Expo exhibition center bringing together over 200 painters, sculptors, photographers, graphic artists from a broad range of countries. Several projects such as the “Vechnaya pamyat” (Eternal memory), “Okno v Parizh” (Window to Paris), “Kukli mira” (World`s dolls) will be implemented as part of the festival. As part of the festival, winners within the categories “Painting”, “Drawing”, “Sculpture”, “Photography”, “Installation”, “Applied Arts”, “Architecture” and “Museum” will be determined on the results of the contest by panel of authoritative judges led by Tahir Salahov, Vice-President of Russian Academy of Arts. The award ceremony is slated for May 26 at Central Literary House. The winners will be presented Vera bronze statuette. The closing exhibition will take place on May 27 at Tauride Palace in Saint Petersburg.
