International conference on modern property management kicks off in Baku

Baku, October 6 (AZERTAC). A two-day international scientific-practice conference entitled “Role of national spatial data infrastructure and a unified cadastre of real estate in modern property management system” has today started in Azerbaijan`s capital.

About 90 representatives from more than 20 countries, as well as Azerbaijani officials and MPs are attending the conference.

Opening the ceremony, chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Property Issues Karam Hasanov briefed on progress achieved during the past 20 years.

The discussions will feature issues on the international experience in this field, institutional and legislative aspects the practical activity of Azerbaijani cadastre and registration agencies, bringing their work into line with NSDI and INSPIRE initiatives, rendering electronic services for cadastre and registration of real estate, real estate assessment.
