INTERNATIONAL GATHERING OF RAILWAYMEN ENDS

The 21st conference of director generals of the Organization of Railway Cooperation wrapped up April 28 in Baku. The two-day conference focused on how to eliminate the impediments to cargo transportation by railway and scheduled deliveries between Europe and Asia as well as the prospects of railway development in 27 member-states. The conference participants endorsed a plan of work and budget for 2007 and subsequent years.
