Jackie Chan to film “Armour of God IV” in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan

Legendary actor Jackie Chan will film “Armour of God IV: Ultimatum” in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, continuing the action franchise that began four decades ago, Variety has reported.
The film will be directed by Robert Kun and produced by Salem Entertainment. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in July, with the movie expected to be released worldwide in the second quarter of 2027.
Filming will be carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Agency of Azerbaijan.
The film follows the story of Jackie Chan’s iconic character, Asian Hawk, who is drawn back into action amid a global hunt for an ancient artifact known as the Tumar, carrying a reward exceeding $20 million.
