Kazakhstan increases grain exports to Azerbaijan

In the first 11 months of this year, Kazakhstan’s grain exports reached 12.6 million tons, marking a 34 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

In September–November, grain transportation totaled 4.4 million tons, up 21 percent year-on-year, including 3.4 million tons of exports, an increase of 19 percent.

Compared to the same period last year, grain transportation by rail during the 11-month period rose by 150 percent to Black Sea ports, 196 percent to Russian Baltic ports, 799 percent to the Baltic countries, 556 percent to Azerbaijan, and 197 percent to Iran.
