Kyrgyzstan hosts meeting of Customs Officers of CIS countries

The 23rd meeting of the Committee of Heads of Law Enforcement Units of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member states has been held in Kyrgyzstan city of Cholpon-Ata.
A delegation led by Orkhan Nuriyev, chief of the Operation-Investigation General Department of the State Customs Committee (SCC) joined the meeting.
The delegation first attended the meeting of working groups and experts in order to develop the draft documents that will be discussed at the event.
The meeting saw discussion on combating the illegal turnover of tobacco products, activities related to the detection of goods sent by international mailing, the current situation of illegal drug trafficking in CIS member countries and activity plans of working groups.
The participants signed ten draft decisions on the agenda of the meeting.
