New PACE president comments on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
Strasbourg, January 23 (AZERTAC).New president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Jean-Claude Mignon, has commented on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be solved. I hope both the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides will show more common sense at the Parliamentary Assembly,” he told a press conference marking the start of the PACE winter session in Strasbourg.
“"Everyone must show strong resolve… This will serve the interests of all.”
Mignon also expressed hope “the conflict will be solved within the framework of the Minsk Group”.
