OIL PRODUCTION TO EXCEED 30 MILLION TONS

Oil production is forecast at 30 million tons this year, according to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic. Production will hit the highest pick since 1941. Azerbaijan has to date produced 1 billion 492 million tons of crude, of which 547.2 million tons have been extracted offshore.
