PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES PRIME MINISTER OF PAKISTAN SHAUKAT AZIZ
Importance of enhancement of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan economic cooperation and that in science and technology was pointed out during the conversation.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz said his country is following closely the developments in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector. “It is very important to us to study and use Azerbaijan’s experience in oil and gas sector,” he said.
President Ilham Aliyev told of Azerbaijan’s rich experience in oil and gas field, as well as development of science and technology in the country, and pointed out the importance of its cooperation with Pakistan.
The Pakistani Prime Minister informed the Azerbaijani leader on the economic and political processes taking place in Pakistan, the government’s efforts to reduce poverty in the country, and touched on its relations with neighboring states.
They also discussed regional cooperation and security issues.
