President of Mauritius: Cooperation agreement with ‘ASAN Khidmet’ is a priority

Dharambeer Gokhool, President of the Republic of Mauritius, who is visiting the country to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), was briefed on the activities of the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ Center.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, provided the guest with detailed information on the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ centers initiated by President Ilham Aliyev and on ongoing innovation projects.
The guest was briefed on technological solutions used in ‘ASAN Khidmet’ centers. It was noted that ASAN, as a national intellectual product, has been exported through agreements with over 30 countries and international organizations.
The President of Mauritius expressed interest in implementing Azerbaijan’s ‘ASAN Khidmet’ model in his country. The guest also was introduced to the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile ASAN Service, and the activities of the “ABAD” public legal entity.
President Dharambeer Gokhool shared his impressions to AZERTAC, saying that: “This visit offers an excellent opportunity for Mauritius and Azerbaijan to strengthen cooperation and build strong, sincere, and friendly relations. I had the opportunity to visit ‘ASAN Khidmet,’ and I can firmly state that what I observed is not merely transformation, but a revolution being implemented by Azerbaijan. I was informed that these achievements reflect President Ilham Aliyev’s vision of enhancing accessibility of public services and improving citizens’ quality of life. I believe this should be a core objective of every government, and your government is performing very successfully in this direction,” the President of Mauritius emphasized.”
Dharambeer Gokhool further stressed that there is much to learn from Azerbaijan’s experience, adding that preparing a cooperation agreement with ‘ASAN Khidmet’ will be one of his key priorities.
