Slovak parliamentary delegation tours Fuzuli, Shusha, Khankendi and Aghdam to view reconstruction efforts

On May 15, a delegation led by Richard Raši, Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, visited the liberated territories to view ongoing reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories.
AZERTAC's regional correspondent reports that the guests first familiarized themselves with the Fuzuli International Airport, the air gateway to the Victory Road, restoration of the city of Fuzuli, as well as the projects implemented in the city.
As part of their trip to Shusha, the guests explored the city’s historical and cultural landmarks. They also visited the Jidir Duzu Plain and the Ashaghi Govhar Agha Mosque in Shusha.
Afterwards, the Slovak delegation visited the city of Khankendi, where they were briefed on the large-scale construction, restoration, and reconstruction works carried out there, and the Victory Park.
The guests toured Garabagh University in Khankendi, where they familiarized themselves with the university’s modern teaching facilities and academic environment. During the meeting, Shahin Bayramov, the Rector of Garabagh University, it was highlighted that the institution holds substantial potential for educating highly qualified professionals capable of contributing to the region’s socio-economic advancement.
As part of the trip, the Slovak parliamentarians also visited the village of Bash Garvand in the Aghdam district, to familiarize themselves with the projects implemented with the participation of Slovakia.
