SOCAR President meets with Chairman and CEO of “DeGolyer and MacNaughton”

Baku, August 28, AZERTAC

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf has met with Chairman and CEO of “DeGolyer and MacNaughton” John W. Wallace.

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf hailed the fact that the two companies have been maintaining cooperation since 2017 on the calculation of hydrocarbon reserves of strategic deposits in accordance with international standards by DeGolyer and McNaughton as well as the modeling of deposits.

The meeting saw discussions on SOCAR's strategic goals and tasks set, as well as exchange of views on steps taken towards production optimization and other issues of mutual interest.
