Turkey to host OIC think tanks forum
Baku, March 29 (AZERTAC). The 2nd Think Tanks Forum of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) “Public Diplomacy” initiated by the Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on March 30-31.
Leading research fellow of the Center of Strategic Researches under the President of Azerbaijan Republic (SAM) Javid Valiyev will represent Azerbaijan at the forum.
The aim of the forum is to contribute to creating awareness of the necessary scientific studies and developing joint projects by public bodies and think tanks to fulfill the purpose.
The forum will bring together chairmen of the think tanks from OIC countries, diplomats, officials, media representatives, specialists and academicians who are connected with the meeting`s subjects.
The concept of “Public Diplomacy” will be discussed under the following subtitles: “Public Diplomacy: Theoretical and Conceptual Framework”, “The Actors in Public Diplomacy”, “Security and Public Diplomacy”, “Education, Cultural Activities and Public Diplomacy”, “Foreign Policy and Public Diplomacy”, Economic Activities and Public Diplomacy”.
