TURKIC ACADEMY TO OPEN IN ASTANA
Baku, May 21 (AZERTAC). President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Turkish President Abdullah Gul will inaugurate the Academy of Turkic World in Kazakh capital, Astana. The inauguration is due to take place on May 25. According to Kazakh media, the Academy will enable scholars from all Turkic states to make researches in the field of archaeology, ethnography, Turkic and literary studies in Astana.
Yet during the Turkic States` Summit in Azerbaijan, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev offered to set up the Academy in Astana. According to Nazarbayev, the Academy will probably include a Center of Turkic History and Culture, Turkic Languages Center, a library and a museum.
