Two new Russian services for Flydubai
Baku, July 6 (AZERTAC). Flydubai is starting services between Dubai and Kazan and Ufa from September, cities with strong trading and industrial profiles.
Flights to Kazan will operate between Dubai`s Terminal 2 from September 14 with services to Ufa beginning three days later.
FZ933 will depart 1000, landing in Kazan International Airport at 1510, and the return flight FZ934 will depart at 1640, arriving in Dubai at 2145. FZ939 to Ufa will depart Dubai Terminal 2 at 1025, landing in Ufa at 1730, and the return flight FZ940 leaves at 1830, arriving in Dubai at 2130.
Kazan`s main industries include machinery, chemical, petrochemical, light and food production and it is also home to Russia`s largest IT park, while the economy of Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, is based on fuel, energy, engineering and retail.
CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said he was "grateful" to the Russian authorities for approving the services and said they will help showcase Dubai as a business destination to Russian and larger CIS markets.
One-way fares between Dubai and Kazan and Ufa start from AED1,285 ($350), with flights from both destinations to Dubai priced from AED1,175 ($320).
All fares include 20kg checked baggage plus one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7kg and one small laptop bag or hand bag. A seat with extra legroom costs AED100 ($28) extra.
Flydubai recently announced flights to Kiev, Donetsk and Kharkiv in Ukraine and in addition to existing routes to Yekaterinburg in Russia and Baku.
