UKRAINIAN FILM WINS MAIN PRIZE AT “ARSENALS” FILM FESTIVAL

Baku, September 27 (AZERTAC). The main prize at the “Arsenals” International Film Forum was won yesterday by Ukrainian director Maxim Vasyanovich for his documentary film “Mum died on Saturday in the Kitchen”, according to LETA.

In the Baltic Film Competition, the prize for Best Animation was received by Latvian director Jurgis Krasons for “To Swallow a Toad”. The Best Baltic Documentary award went to the Estonian film “Estonian Stories. World Champion” by Moonika Siimets, while the Best Baltic Feature award was given to the Estonian film “Temptation of St Tony”, which also won two awards in the International Competition.
