36TH MEETING OF IDB BOARD OF DIRECTORS DUE IN YEMEN
Baku June 24 (AZERTAC). The 36th meeting of the Islamic Development Bank`s (IDB) Board of Governors will take place in Yemen capital Sana, from May 31 till June 1 2011, the decision was adopted during the 35th meeting wrapped up in Baku today under the chairmanship of Azeri Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev.
The members of the board examined the 35th annual report of IDB. Directors of IDB from Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Morocco, Tunis, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Nigeria, Tajikistan and other countries thanked the head of Azerbaijan and its nation for organizing this event and hospitality and wished success to Dr. Ahmad Mahammad Ali in his office of chief of IDB Group.
IDB Director from Yemen was elected as Chairman of the Board of Director, while directors from Guinea-Bissau and Palestine as Deputy Chairmen.
The participants also formed the procedural committee on the 36th IDB meeting comprising directors from Azerbaijan, Yemen, Guinea-Bissau, Palestine, Oman, Guinea and Sudan.
