7 killed, 30 injured in vehicle collision in India

At least seven people were killed and 30 others injured Sunday when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck in northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, police said, according to Xinhua.
The accident took place on Agra-Lucknow expressway in Mainpuri district, 256 km west of Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.
"Early today in a road accident on Agra-Lucknow Expressway under Karhal police station here, a speedy private bus rammed into goods truck killing seven people and injuring 30 others," a police official posted in Mainpuri district said. "The deceased include the bus driver."
The injured were admitted to the government hospital in Saifai town.
According to police, the bus was going to Varanasi from New Delhi.
