Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine regional format to be created

"Initiated by and involving Azerbaijan another regional format, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine is going to be established," Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Azar Khudiyev has told AZERTAC.
The ambassador said that the first political consultations on the creation of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine format will be held on March 6 this year in Baku.
Delegations led by the Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar, and Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ümit Yalçin will arrive in Azerbaijan to attend the political consultations. On behalf of Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov will participate in political consultations.
Ambassador Khudiyev said that the consultations will focus on the current state of and prospects for developing trilateral cooperation in political, economic, energy, and humanitarian areas, as wel as the development of mutually beneficial cooperation within international organizations.
"The issues relating to transportation of cargo through the new transport corridors, and the successful transportation of energy resources through the Caspian and Black Sea basin within the trilateral format will also be discussed," the ambassador said.
