CAPSIAN ENERGY SUPPLIES ARE OF VITAL IMPORTANCE FOR EUROPE, LORD HUNT
Baku, September 17 (AZERTAC). “Caspian energy supplies are very important from the standpoint of safety of deliveries to Europe”, UK minister of state for the Department of Energy and Climate Change Lord Hunt told a press conference today. He outlined that the purpose of his visit to Azerbaijan is to promote the advancement of Southern Energy Corridor project. According to Lord Hunt, negotiations with Azerbaijani officials featured such topics, as climate change and cutting down of air pollution. Great Britain is a leading foreign investor in Azerbaijan, British minister said. Also Lord Hunt congratulated Azerbaijani people on 15th anniversary of the “Contract of the Century”.
