COVID-19 in Ukraine: 2,328 new infections, 37 dead, 48,992 active cases

Ukraine has identified 2,328 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said at the daily briefing held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 22, according to Kyiv Post.

“This is another record-breaking number of new cases,” Stepanov said.

At least 48,992 people are currently fighting the disease across Ukraine.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine has recorded 37 deaths from COVID-19, 450 patients have been hospitalized and 657 people have recovered.
