ABB’S ACTIVITIES IN REHABILITATION OF ENERGY SECTOR OF AZERBAIJAN
The German branch of the world-known ABB Company held a presentation of its projects for the experts of Azenergy Company. A project of introduction of a new dispatcher management system SCADA and rehabilitation of transmission infrastructure is to be presented at the ceremony, press-service of Azenergy reports. A special attention was paid to a loan given by the German KFW Bank for the rehabilitation program of a transmission system of Azerbaijan. Reconstruction of a number of high voltage system substations is foreseen within the framework of this project. Reconstruction of the Dispatcher Center will give an opportunity to raise speed of energetic system that improves its safety. The ABB Company is one of the world biggest producers of electro-technical equipment. Besides, it specializes in introduction of dispatcher management systems and construction of power stations. This company has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1995 and now cooperates with different offices of Azenergy Company.
