ABOUT 100 AZERBAIJANI NATIONAL STANDARDS TO RECEIVE INTERNATIONAL STATUS
The fund of standards of Azerbaijan Agency widened and currently the process on bringing the national standards in conformity with world standards successfully goes on, Chairperson of the agency Khalida Masimova said. Approval of the national standards in the international level will enable to sell local commodity in more than 120 leading world countries.
About 3 thousand international standards, over 12 thousand Turkish standards, 20 thousand intergovernmental standards, nearly 600 thousand directives, and norms of the European Union, about 100 state standards of Azerbaijan comprise the Fund of the Azerbaijani Agency. Currently, the work is being implemented on creation of new national standards.
