Action plan on Khojaly genocide anniversary endorsed
Baku, February 2 (AZERTAC). Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan signed an order on a plan of actions to mark the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide
The action plan envisages laying wreath at the monuments to Khojaly Genocide victims, spreading appeals of IDPs from Khojaly to foreign countries and international organizations, conducting commemoration ceremonies, press conferences on this occasion by Azerbaijani embassies, missions and Diaspora organizations and preparing materials for broadcasting abroad.
The officials, MPs and intellectuals will provide assistance to shahid families.
Media outlets will feature information and ceremonies on the occasion.
Khojaly genocide victims will be remembered across the country by observing a moment of silence on February 26 at 17:00.
