Located in northern Azerbaijan, the Shahdag Tourism Center lies 29 kilometers from the Gusar district. This stunning destination is named after the mighty Shahdag peak, which rises 4,243 meters above sea level. As part of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, the peak adds extraordinary beauty and grandeur to the surrounding natural landscape.
Shahdag is a perfect winter getaway for ski lovers. The resort can accommodate up to 25,000 skiers per hour. With 37 ski slopes stretching across 45 kilometers, the area offers routes for both beginners and experienced skiers. Visitors can ascend to the heights on pedestrian cableways and take in the spectacular views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. This journey leads to “2351,” the highest restaurant in Azerbaijan, offering the perfect spot to relax and create unforgettable memories with the snowy mountains as a backdrop.
Adrenaline enthusiasts will be thrilled by the “Shahdag Coaster.” The track stretches 2,590 meters, with 1,670 meters downhill and 920 meters uphill. Reaching speeds of up to 42 km/h and maneuvering through nine sharp curves, the coaster provides an exhilarating and unforgettable experience.
