Aktau hosting Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan regional business forum
Baku, December 10 (AZERTAC). The first Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan regional business forum has today started in Aktau.
The event is organized by Azerbaijan Consulate General in Aktau, Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development, Azerbaijan Business Investments Association (ABIA) in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
An exhibition of foods and industrial goods produced in Azerbaijan was organized during the forum.
The Azerbaijan State Oil Company and MangistauMunayGas JSC have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of oil field development, cleaning of oil-polluted areas, crude transportation and improvement of environmental situation in Mangystau province.
Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Tourist Associations signed a memorandum of cooperation and mutual assistance, Kazakhstan North Caspian Operating Company and Azerbaijan Business Investments Association signed a protocol of intent on providing sites for Azerbaijani investors to start their business in the free economic zone in Aktau, Kazakh National State Agency and Azerbaijan Business Investments Association also signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Azerbaijani`s ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov, the country`s Consul General in Aktau Rashad Mammadov and Kazakh ambassador to the country Serik Primbetov were present at the event.
