Ambassador of United States visiting IRELI Public Union
Baku, April 5 (AZERTAC). The Ambassador of the United States to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza Monday visited the IRELI Public Union. The Ambassador got familiarized with the headquarters and Youth Center of the Union. Mr. Bryza was briefed on the youth activities and trainings conducted by IRELI Public Union, including the WeBlog project.
The U.S. Ambassador dwelled on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in different spheres and the U.S. support for the economic and democratic developments in Azerbaijan. Then he answered questions from the audience.
The IRELI Public Union was founded on the basis of the IRELI Countrywide Youth Movement. The Union was established on activities of young professionals. It holds an active position in today`s socio-political life of Azerbaijan. IRELI has individual and collective membership system. The activities of IRELI cover all regions and cities of Azerbaijan.
