Amsterdam Schiphol Airport evacuated after reports of 'suspicious package'

Baku, April 13, AZERTAC

Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport has been evacuated after reports of a suspicious package, according to Mirror.

Armed police stormed the building and one man was arrested. He is still in police custody.

The situation is still unclear but parts of the airport were evacuated, according to AirLive.Net.

A robot is reportedly inspecting a suspicious bag and a search operation is believed to be underway outside a bus stop near to the airport.

It is unknown which flights have been impacted by the alert, which happened at around 9.40pm local time.
