ANA Dreamliner makes emergency landing after engine heat ıssue

An ANA Holdings Inc. Dreamliner bound for Tokyo made an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur Monday after receiving a warning that the temperature of the exhaust gas from its right engine was very high, according to Bloomberg.
The pilots of Flight 816 cut off power on the right side and landed with the left engine, Kenichi Furukawa, an ANA spokesman, said by phone from Tokyo. All 203 passengers and 11 crew members are safe, said Ryosei Nomura, another spokesman. The company has yet to determine the cause of the warning.
The plane climbed to an altitude of about 28,000 feet, some 40 minutes into the flight, before turning back to Kuala Lumpur airport, according to Flightradar24.com, which tracks aircraft movement.
The aircraft left Kuala Lumpur airport at 8:10 a.m. local time and landed back at 9:27 a.m. The carrier is looking to arrange alternative options for the passengers of Flight 816 to fly to Tokyo, Furukawa said.
The Boeing Co. 787 plane is powered by engines from Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc. The enginemaker and planemaker said they are aware of the incident and are working with the airline, according to separate e-mailed responses to Bloomberg News queries.
