ANAMA Chairman meets with UK ambassador

Shamil Rzayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), met with Duncan Norman, newly appointed UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The meeting included an exchange of views on cooperation in humanitarian demining, as well as current priorities and future projects in this area.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that eliminating the mine threat is not only a matter of security, but is also of vital importance for ensuring sustainable peace and socio-economic development in the region, and for supporting the safe living conditions and resettlement of the population.
