Anama destroys over 6 thousand Uxos and mines in December
Baku, January 8 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 3,720,171 sq. meters area of land from 6,306 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) and mines in December. ANAMA found 6 tank mines.
Demining operations involved 480 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 37 mine detection dogs.
To date, ANAMA has cleared 151,820,465 sq.m. of land, destroying 640,589 mines and UXOs.
The Agency has carried demining operations in the regions of Tartar, Agdam, Agstafa, Fizuli, Agjabady, Goranboy, Goygol and Garadag district of Baku.
