Azerbaijan attends international festival on folk art in Belarussia
Baku, May 21 (AZERTAC). Music band “Young Ashugs” (Caucasian folk poet and singer) with support of Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism will represent Azerbaijan at the folk art international festival due in Bobruisk city in Belarus on June 30-July 3.
The band was established by Ashug Ali Guliyev in 2000.
Azeri band will participate at the exhibition-presentation of folk souvenirs and at concerts organized in Bobruisk, Mogilev and other regions.
The aim of the festival is to develop and strengthen international relations and popularize folk art and traditions, Azerbaijan Embassy in Belarus said.
The last festival “Friendship garland” brought together 24 creative groups from Iran, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.
