AZERBAIJAN, EGYPT DISCUSS EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION
Baku, May 20 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Minister of Education Misir Mardanov met today with Egyptian First Deputy Minister of Education Mohamed G. Abou Ali.
Mardanov praised current state of Azerbaijan-Egypt relations, and exchange of students between the two countries. He said 21 Azerbaijanis are studying in Egypt`s universities while 29 Egyptian citizens are pursuing their studies in Azerbaijan.
The Egyptian official invited a delegation of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education to Egypt. He said his meeting with rectors of Azerbaijani universities was fruitful for expanding education cooperation.
Director of Egyptian Cultural Center in Baku Adel Darvish expressed confidence for further development of educational ties between the two countries.
Egyptian ambassador to Azerbaijan Sabir-al Mansur attended the event.
