AZERBAIJAN, GERMANY DISCUSS STATE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Baku, September 22 (AZERTAC). Chief of Azerbaijan State Committee on Property Issues Karam Hasanov has met today head of the department on privatization issues at the German Federal Ministry of Finance Verner Shik and his accompanying delegation.
The discussions focused on how to develop cooperation on management and privatization of state property and study Germany`s relevant practice.
Hasanov briefed the delegation members on the national leader Heydar Aliyev-initiated strategy on social and economic development which, he added, is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
He also spoke of the progress achieved in the privatization sector in Azerbaijan and cooperation with GTZ on state property management.
Verner Shik, in turn, praised the accomplishments in Azerbaijan in various spheres.
He underlined the necessity of boosting cooperative relations.
