AZERBAIJAN, GERMANY: MILITARY CO-OP EXPANDING
The goal of the action is to render assistance to the Azerbaijan Center for control on elimination of the conventional arms in the field of realization of the duties resulting from the appropriate agreements. Noting that the computer set with a special software and other accommodation was granted by Germany to Azerbaijan as a sign of military and security co-op, the Ambassador said that this would give impetus to expansion of military cooperation in other fields.
Ambassador Clause Grevlich said that he was proud of accrediting two military attaches to Azerbaijan. The German diplomat said that the two countries would coordinate their efforts within the international and multilateral military cooperation for the security reasons. The appropriate agreements are to be signed next year, the Ambassador stressed.
Expressing his gratitude for the assistance colonel Ramiz Najafov said it was a step forward in the relations between the two countries’ military departments. He also noted that probation courses and participation of the Azerbaijani militaries at the seminars in Germany are positive aspects of this cooperation.
Further development of the bilateral relations in the military sphere is necessary for future safety of the two countries, the parties underlined.
