AZERBAIJAN INKS DEFENSE GOODS CONTRACTS TO AMOUNT OF OVER 61 MLN MANATS
Baku, July 15 (AZERTAC). The contracts on defense-related goods worth AZN 61.1 million have been signed during six months of 2010, said Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov.
The contracts in the amount of 42 mln manats are scheduled to be sealed to increase production of defense products up to 103 mln in 2010.
According to him, the amount of contracts has surged 120 times since 2006, 9.6 times since 2007 and 6 times since 2008.
