Azerbaijan is the largest foreign investor in Georgia

Azerbaijan invested USD 542 million in Georgia in 2015, becoming the largest investor in the country.
The UK is second with USD 198 million.
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, USD 2.4 billion investment was made in the country last year, with USD 1.3 billion of this amount coming from foreign sources.
The size of foreign investment in Georgia dropped 23 percent in comparison with 2014.
