Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan discuss ways of developing interparliamentary relations

Baku, July 4 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan's Speaker, Ogtay Asadov, and his Kyrgyz counterpart Akhmatbek Keldibekov discussed the current state of relations between the two parliaments and prospects for developing ties in various spheres, including economy and culture.

Asadov said the two countries signed 20 bilateral documents, which “serve as a good legal basis to develop our relations”.

On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Azerbaijani Speaker thanked the Kyrgyz government for supporting his country`s position and territorial integrity.

Keldibekov praised the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations.

He praised the role of interparliamentary groups in strengthening the bilateral ties.

Keldibekov will attend the 3rd World Congress of Azerbaijanis, which will take place in Baku tomorrow.
