Azerbaijan likely to deliver oil to Czech, Slovakia and Hungary

Baku, July 29 (AZERTAC). The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic, SOCAR, holds negotiations with the Czech and Slovakian sides on the subject to deliver Azerbaijani oil to markets of these countries, SOCAR`s press service reported.

Some 45 percent of Azerbaijani oil is being realized at the Mediterranean markets. Another 20 percent sells in the Northern America.

Today, the work is underway on creation of Euro-Asia oil transport corridor. In realization of this project are interested also Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Georgia.

SOCAR also considers prospects of oil delivery to Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary what will allow up to 2016 to diversify oil delivery routes.
