Azerbaijan, Pakistan enjoy excellent political ties

Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with a delegation led by Minister for Defence Production of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain to discuss political ties between the two countries.
The Pakistani Minster expressed satisfaction with the participation in the “ADEX-2016” Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition, and hailed the organization of the event.
He said Pakistan has always supported Azerbaijan’s fair and just position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
The Azerbaijani top diplomat praised the country’s position, saying the visit of the Pakistani Premier to Baku will make tremendous contribution to expansion of the bilateral ties.
They lauded bilateral political relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, and noted that there were good opportunities for the development of the cooperation in defense and military industry spheres.
