Azerbaijan to be represented at book fair in Turin, Italy

Sandro Tetti, director of the Italian Publishing House “Sandro Teti Editore” visited the National Library of Azerbaijan named after M.F.Akhundov, on February 2, to ensure the participation of National Library at the international book fair, held every year in Turin, Italy.
According to the National Library, Mr. Sandro Teti spoke of the importance of the international book fair.
Director of National Library Karim Tahirov appreciated the invitation to the event to be held on May 14 and said that he would do his best on promoting Azerbaijan to take part at the event.
An agreement on cooperation was signed at the meeting. According to the terms of the contract, Publishing House “Sandro Teti Editore” will allocate 50 square meters of exposition area for Azerbaijani representatives as a "Special Guest Country" at the International Book Fair 2015 in Turin and hold a series of events within the exhibition, including book presentations.
Mr. Tahirov said that more than 300 books, a documentary about Azerbaijan, 3 new books will be presented and booklets about culture, art, tourism, national cuisine, sports and other fields of Azerbaijan will be distributed at the book fair.
