Azerbaijani, Albanian prime ministers meet in Baku

Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama, who is on an official visit to Baku.
The sides hailed the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania in various fields. They stressed the importance of the Albanian Premier`s visit to Baku in terms of expanding bilateral cooperation.
Saying that energy cooperation is one of the main directions of Azerbaijan-Albania relations, the prime ministers noted the significance of joint implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor project.
The two also discussed the strengthening of political ties between the two countries, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in economic, trade, energy, investment, tourism and other areas.
