Azerbaijani ambassador to Poland attends 18th International Economic Forum
Baku, February 16 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Poland Hasan Hasanov has attended the 18th International Economic Forum held in the city of Torun.
Hasanov addressed the conference entitled “The future of Eastern Partnership” that took place as part of the Forum.
The diplomat said Azerbaijan was closely cooperating with European Union and its relevant structures, as well as member states.
He also mentioned Azerbaijan`s cooperation with relevant European structures, including Venice Commission to bring the Azerbaijani laws in line with the European standards.
The diplomat pointed out Azerbaijan also contributes to ensuring Europe`s energy security.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the ambassador said Armenia still continues to occupy the Azerbaijani territories and demonstrates non-constructive position in the negotiation process to settle the problem.
Hasanov described the conflict as a threat to Europe`s security.
