In accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan for 2024 signed between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Serbia, Lieutenant Colonel of the Medical Service Anar Ismayilov, Acting Chief of the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with a delegation led by Brigadier General Radivoje Andjelkovic, Head of the Military Health Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, who is visiting Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

During the meeting at the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense, there was a thorough exchange of views on the prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of military medicine, as well as on several issues of mutual interest. The Serbian delegation received a briefing on the organization of the medical service and military medical support in the Azerbaijan Army.

Following the meeting, the Serbian delegation visited the Main Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense and the Military Medical Faculty, where they reviewed the facilities and conditions.
