AZERBAIJANI DIPLOMAT KEEN IN SITUATION OF DETAINED AZERBAIJANIS

The first secretary of Azerbaijani embassy in Uzbekistan Shahin Ahmadov was sent on a mission to ascertain the situation on detainment of Azerbaijani fishing-boat “Kapaz” in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. He met with law-enforcers of Mangistay oblast of Kazakhstan.

“Kapaz” and its crew was not arrested but detained. Criminal actions were brought against them in accordance with the paragraph 287 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan.

The diplomat also met the crewmembers and learned of their health.

He also exchanged views on this case with representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Aktau.
