AZERBAIJANI DISABLED JUDOISTS TO COMPETE IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The championship is regarded as the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic qualification tournament. The national team led by senior coaches Ahmeddin Rajabli and Ibrahim Ibrahimov will be composed of 8 judoists: champions of Azerbaijan Ramin Ibrahimov (60 kg), Ilkin Alishov (66 kg), Natig Novruzzadeh (66 kg), Ramin Aliyev (73 kg), Tofig Mammadov (90 kg), Arif Aslanov (100 kg), European championship bronze medallist Karim Serdarov (81 kg) and gold medallist of the Athens Paralympic Games, European Championship and bronze medallist of the world championship Ilham Zakiyev (over 100 kg).
The national team will leave for France on June 27.
