AZERBAIJANI GYMNASTS SNATCH BRONZE IN BERLIN
Azerbaijani gymnasts won bronze medals in the final round of the Grand Prix tournament in the German capital, Berlin, press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said.
The medals came from Vafa Huseynova, Anna Bitiyeva, Valeriya Yeqay, Alina Trepina and Anastasia Prasolova in the double-event.
Azerbaijan’s Aliya Qarayeva became forth in the event with ball, and seventh in the events with clubs and ribbon.
Another Azeri gymnast Anna Qurbanova ranked 8th in the event with clubs.
Delegation of the Gymnastics Federation led by its Vice-President Altay Hasanov will reportedly visit Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the 76th congress of the International Gymnastics Federation.
