Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev`s birthday marked in Saudi Arabia
Baku, May 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Saudi Arabia has organized a commemorative event to mark the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event participants viewed photos and documents featuring national leader`s lifetime and activity.
Opening the event, ambassador Tofig Abdullayev highlighted Heydar Aliyev`s great services to his people.
He said a new page was opened in Azerbaijan`s history when the national leader came to power again in 1993. The diplomat added all accomplishments the country achieved are the results of the national leader`s forward-looking policy which is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
