AZERBAIJANI PARALYMPIANS LEAVE FOR SWEDEN
The National Paralympian Committee of Azerbaijan said the paralympian world athletics championship started in Bollnas, Sweeden, March 22.
Sergey Tahmazov, senior coach of the Azerbaijani team, have included in his squad Oleg Panyutin, winner of Athens Paralympic Games and World Championship, world record-holder; Zeynidin Bilalov, silver medallist of Athens Paralympic Games; Aleksandr Polischuk, European champion; Vugar Adishirinov, bronze medallist of the European championship, as well as Azerbaijani champions Elchin Muradov and Vladimir Zayets.
Azerbaijani paralympians will compete in broad jump, triple jump and 60m, 400m and 800m race competitions.
The championship will continue until March 27.
