Azerbaijani Parliament`s delegation to participate in Euronest PA`s meeting
Baku, April 30 (AZERTAC). A delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament, led by the First Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Chairman of the Parliament`s Security and Defense Committee Ziyafat Asgarov will take part in the inaugural meeting of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Brussels on May 3 with the participation of senior representatives of the European Union.
The Azeri delegation comprises Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament`s committee on legal policy and statehood Ali Huseynli, members of Milli Majlis Gulchohra Mammadova, Elkhan Suleymanov, Fuad Muradov and Asim Mollazadeh.
A preparatory meeting involving the delegations of parliamentarians from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held on Monday, May 2.
In addition, the meeting will be attended by President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek and EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
It is planned that the participants in the meeting will approve the constituent documents of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
